Our Mission

  • To build Christian character, and to glorify God through competition with other schools and teams.
  • To use athletics as a part of developing the total student.
  • To develop school spirit and unity.
  • To cultivate relationships among participating students and families.
  • To be a witness for Christ through our effort and attitude.

We encourages students to participate in sports as a way to glorify God through using their gifts and talents. Athletic participation is a family affair at Oconee Christian, and both parents and students should understand the effort and commitment required to participate on Warrior teams. Athletic participation at Oconee Christian Academy is not a right but a privilege that should be valued and protected.

Our Philosophy

OCA students have numerous opportunities beginning in middle school to participate in athletics. Athletic programs offer varsity and junior varsity options, as OCA teams successfully compete in the South Carolina Independent School Association.

The Oconee Christian Academy sports teams regularly compete for state championships.

Athletic success is not only measured by the number of wins, losses and final standings, but also upon the quality relationships that are built between players, coaches, opponents, and ultimately with the Lord Jesus Christ. Athletic competition provides significant character building opportunities for athletes, parents, and coaches.

Our Athletic Conference

Oconee Christian Academy competes through the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA). As a member of the 1A Region IV Independent Schools for region titles and the right to move on to the SCISA State Tournament.
