
Meet Eric Johnson
Mr. Johnson served as the middle school principal for the past 15 years at Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy and led their wrestling program for 11 of those years. The Christian school is located about 30 minutes south of Atlanta and consists of approximately 1,000 students in an ethnically diverse community.
Mr. Johnson brings over 20 years of teaching and administrative work in both public and private education systems, as well as 10 years of service in secular industry including almost 8 years at the Hershey Chocolate Company holding various roles. Mr. Johnson earned his Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Cedarville University in 1991 where he met his wife. He completed a Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision from Troy State University in 2003 and then completed his Specialist degree in Educational Leadership in 2006.
Mr. Johnson and his family relocated from Stockbridge, GA to Seneca full time at the end of June 2021. He and his wife, Gwen, have been married since December of 1991 and together they have two children. They have an adult son working as a registered nurse in the emergency room of the Hershey Medical Center, a Penn State teaching hospital, in Hershey, PA. Their daughter, Victoria, attends Oconee Christian Academy as part of the class of 2023.
